Joshua is already a two-time heavyweight champion and has defeated fighters like Wladimir Klitschko and Joseph Parker throughout his career. However, with recent losses to Usyk and Andy Ruiz Jr., many have questioned his legacy.
Now he has another chance to defeat one of the greats, Usyk. The two met in September, but Joshua was comfortably defeated before a crowd of more than 60,000 at Tottenham Hotspur’s stadium.
“I feel like when I go and beat Usyk, I’ll get back the credit I deserve,” he said in an interview with ESPN. ” I’ll get the admiration for being a true boxing legend”
“This is my 12th title fight in a row – I just feel like sometimes even though we’re selling out arenas and it’s good to be popular, I don’t really care for that stuff. I’d just want the respect in the division.”
