Paddy Pimblett told fans today that he weighs 169 pounds, three days before the weigh-in, and that he is on track to make weight for UFC London.
On Saturday night at The O2 arena in London, Pimblett will enter the octagon once more to face Jordan Leavitt in his third UFC fight. At weigh-ins, he must weigh no more than 156 pounds, which represents merely a 13-pound loss over the following three days.
When asked last night how much he was weighing six days before entering the cage, Pimblett assured the fans that he was on schedule. He responded, “169lb fella.” “Easy work.”
Pimblett is known for gaining weight and eating a lot after fights despite always showing off a six pack. He couldn’t wait until his post-fight press conference in March to devour a pizza, and he didn’t stop until he decided to take on Leavitt a few months later.
