Janet Todd will fight for the interim Atomweight Muay Thai world title against the Spanish Lara Fernandez. This was announced by Sports Illustrated.
Pan American champion and ONE standout Janet Todd is riding an impressive six-fight win streak in the promotion, defeating such storied opponents as Stamp Fairtex and Anne Line Hogstad in her last appearance, held in April 2021.
The experienced Spaniard Fernandez will make her promotional debut with ONE Championship, attempting to take the interim atomweight championship. Prior to her loss in her last bout to Amy Pirnie at Lion Fight, Fernandez was on a four-fight winning streak.
New battles for ONE 159, including the main event, will be announced soon.
