ONE Championship has announced on its website the signing of four fighters who are currently undefeated as professionals, including Ecuadorian Aaron Cañarte.
From the ranks of Entram Gym of Tijuana, Cañarte owns a 10 – 0 record with six wins before the cut, three by submission and the others by KO/TKO. The Guayaquil featherweight has spent half of his career in Mexico, competing for the UWC.
The other additions are Kyrgyzstan’s 100% completion rate Akbar Abdulaev (8 – 0), Russian light heavyweight with good grappling credentials Shamil Erdogan (8 – 0) and Blake Cooper (2 – 0), younger brother of former PFL champion Ray Cooper III.
All of these signings are expected to debut within the ONE circle sometime in 2023.
