Petr Yan (16-3 MMA, 8-2 UFC) and Henry Cejudo (16-2 MMA, 10-2 UFC) have expressed interest in fighting O’Malley, but “The Suga Show” believes they don’t really want to.
Pedro Munhoz’s bout with O’Malley at UFC 276 was ruled a no contest when Munhoz was unable to continue due to an eye injury in Round 2. This was Munhoz’s biggest test to date on paper. However, O’Malley (15-1 MMA, 7-1 UFC) is seeking to advance and considers Cejudo and Yan to be two strong candidates.
“Now I’m ranked No. 9. The only other little f*cking weasel on here that doesn’t have a fight booked is Petr Yan,” O’Malley said on his YouTube channel. “He said, ‘Hey pink poodle, call me out if you win.’ The UFC didn’t give me the mic to be able to do that. I feel like he is just like Henry, dude: all talk. Just on Twitter, you could talk. Henry doesn’t want that fight or else we can make it happen. Petr, same thing.”
