Thor Bjornsson responds to Tyson Fury’s call out as a fight between the two heavyweights is teased

Fury, the current heavyweight champion, says he would only step back into the ring for exhibition bouts with celebrities or legends unless he was made a £500 million offer to return oficially. Recently via social media Bjornsson and the “King of the Gypsies” have been hinting a fight.

Fury used Instagram to challenge Bjornsson, asking fans via instagram stories “I wonder if Thor could take a crashing right hand to that big jaw?”. Who would have Thor’s hammer, would this mountain be too big to climb?” Alluding to Bjornsson’s role in the famous game of thrones series.

Bjornsson hit back with a post of his own, telling Fury, “There’s only one way to find out, let’s make these [our fists] talk. I’m ready for war. Let’s do it.”

Bjornsson and Fury appear to actually be friends, as the two posed together on tour in December. However, an exhibition bout between the two could generate a lot of money, especially if Fury were to adopt standard exhibition rules and not go for the knockout, which would allow the fight to be a great show.
